LimeLight is Changing Direct Sales

First let me address the stigma of direct sales, because lets get real there is a huge stigma with direct sales. Direct Sales goes way back and just like everything else it evolves and grows over time. The 'Old School Tactics' of direct sales was all about hard core selling and approaching random people you didn't know (talk about uncomfortable!). Then as we moved into the 21st Century and Direct Sales began to take over social media these 'Old School Tactics' evolved into something more. Now people randomly get added to social media groups to buy. Direct Sellers are randomly messaging random people on social media begging them to join their team (they only have 3 spots left!). They are even begging random people to help them out by buying. These 'Old School Tactics' make me cringe as I type this to be honest and they all scream one word SPAM!

Now I am not saying anything bad about these old school ways, and everyone has their own way of doing things. However, I feel there is a better way and I call it the LimeLight way. I truly think LimeLight is changing the stigma on direct sales one person at a time.

Allow me to explain what direct sales really is, it is network marketing and relationship building. With LimeLight we are trained to never randomly add people to groups on social media, never randomly message people begging for sales and to stop 'trying' to sell in general (SHARE INSTEAD). So you can kind of see why I call this new school tactic the LimeLight way right?! Instead we are trained on relationship building. Yes, it is that simple! Think about, if direct sales is essentially network marketing and relationship building why don't we do just that? When I talk to people about products I DON'T think about a sell, instead I honestly try to familiarize myself with them and their needs and offer some value instead. I always think how can I truly help this person and guess what if I really feel a product or this opportunity is not a good fit I TELL them!

I have had so many people approach me in the past few days thanking me for not being a 'typical' direct sales person. I guess that is what got my mind rolling on this topic and I honestly feel LimeLight is changing the way people view Direct Sales!
